Fighting Results from 2012-2013

Every single notable fight from the 2012-2013 season!

27/7/13
Andre Berto Vs Jesus Soto Karass - A nip and tuck fight the whole way through with both men having success and hurting each other. However, you got the feeling that throughout the fight Karass was the one on the way to victory and that proved to be right after a solid left-hook in round 12. Karass TKO 12.

Omar Figueroa Vs Nihito Arakawa - A fantastic, action-packed fight between two little warriors. It looked like Arakawa was on his way out after being dominated in round 1 but he gritted his teeth, came back strong an took the fight to the youngster. Every round followed the same pattern - Both men just beating the hell out of each other! Figueroa UD.

Keith Thurman vs Diego Chaves - An explosive fighter between two power-punchers right from the off. Chaves started well and had plenty of success throughout the fight, but eventually Thurman proved to be the smarter and classier operator. Thurman KO 10.

Bradley & Provodnikov gave us a night to remember!

What a year it has already been for action, excitement and thrills in boxing. The fights that were expected to be dull have turned into classics and the fights that we were expecting action in have lived up to the expectations too. Off the top of my head I can think of more than a few fights from this year that we will be remembered for years to come and I'm sure most other fight fans can too.

Pound-For-Pound Preview for 2013!

Here we are in the first month of 2013, just waiting for the boxing world to kick off once again. With the first big night of boxing of the year coming up in a weeks time on January 19th (Salido-Garcia, Golovkin-Rosado, Martinez-Burgos), I think this is the perfect time to give a preview of the pound-for-pound rankings this year.

There are so many young talented superstars making their way through the ranks at this current time and 2013 could be the year when some of them launch themselves to the very top and start mixing with the elite fighters in the sport. The Pacquiao-Mayweather-Marquez-Cotto era is gradually coming to an end so expect to see the tide changing a lot in the coming months!
