What a weekend it has been for Adonis 'Superman' Stevenson. The Canadian 35-year old entered the biggest fight of his career as a heavy underdog against WBC light-heavyweight world champ and division No.1 'Bad' Chad Dawson on Saturday night. However, the lively power puncher did "bad" things to Dawson in Montreal, scoring a 1st round knock out victory and turning the light-heavyweight division on it's head. He now finds himself in an incredible position...

The Fans Have Voted: Broner and Ward, the future P4P kings?
By Jack Price @PriceyJ97.
The Mayweather-Pacquiao era is slowly coming to an end. There was a time when these two men were dominating the pound-for-pound debates. It was debatable between these two, but nobody else even came close. But now these two superstars are aging and clearly slowing down, the pound-for-pound No.1 spot will soon be left wide open for the young, hungry up and coming superstars making their way through the rankings right now.
It's impossible to predict the future, especially in boxing, but we wanted to find out who the fans believe is the "most likely" to be in the P4P No.1 spot in a few years time. So we asked the following question to our Twitter followers (@BoxingOpinions1): Who will be the pound-for-pound king in 5 years time?
There were tons of names mentioned, way more than I actually expected, but two names dominated the discussion: WBC super-bantamweight super-middleweight champion and most people's P4P No.2 Andre Ward, and flamboyant and controversial highly-rated WBC lightweight world champ Adrien 'The Problem' Broner. Let's take a look at why most boxing fans/experts believe it will be these two men battling it out for the No.1 spot in the future.

Pound-For-Pound Preview for 2013!
Here we are in the first month of 2013, just waiting for the boxing world to kick off once again. With the first big night of boxing of the year coming up in a weeks time on January 19th (Salido-Garcia, Golovkin-Rosado, Martinez-Burgos), I think this is the perfect time to give a preview of the pound-for-pound rankings this year.
There are so many young talented superstars making their way through the ranks at this current time and 2013 could be the year when some of them launch themselves to the very top and start mixing with the elite fighters in the sport. The Pacquiao-Mayweather-Marquez-Cotto era is gradually coming to an end so expect to see the tide changing a lot in the coming months!

New P4P Plan!
As you all most likely know already, BoxingOpinions have linked with new upcoming magazine Boxing Mad Mag, and are helping out with a few things in their mag and on the site. One of the biggest things we're doing is creating fan-based weight divisional rankings and pound-for-pound rankings that will be featured on www.boxingmadmagazine.com.
These rankings will be 100% based on the fans opinions and views and will be updated by the fans themselves every week. The lists are exclusive to the Boxing Mad Mag site. But don't worry! You can still find rankings on this site, they will just be compiled by me and based on my opinion. However, they will be kept as fair and unbiased as possible.
Our P4P page can be found here: http://boxingopinion1.blogspot.co.uk/p/the-p4p-page.html
If you want to help compile the fans pound-for-pound list, send your Top 10's to us on Twitter (@BoxingOpinions1).
