The 40-year old lasted just 82 seconds in his most recent fight with David Price, despite telling people repeatedly in the build-up that this was "his time." Harrison himself even admitted in the post-fight interview that this was most likely the last time we would see him in the ring. But since then he has had a change of heart.
He tweeted: "It's official... I've decided to carry on. One more shot at glory. It could be over; next fight will tell me. See you in a ring real soon."
In a later tweet he said: "A decision has come from above. He to me son 'lace up your gloves' your time as a boxer is not quite done, so go out there and have some fun."
This is not the first time Audley has had this "sign." He has disappointed fight fans in a lot of fights, one of the most memorable being his three-round knockout defeat to David Haye where he threw a total of one punch. Everyone thought, and some hoped, that this was the last time we would see him in the square circle. But once again he decided not to and tried to convince that he still had what it takes to make it as a pro.
One achievement you can't take away from "A-Force" is the Sydney Olympic games where he won a gold medal at super-heavyweight. But from that point onwards it has all been downhill. He has failed to fulfil his huge potential so far and to be honest, it's sad, but I don't think he ever will.
