Pacquiao Accused Of Housing A Fugitive!

Manny Pacquiao is usually seen as one of the best role-models in boxing and up until just recently has had a squeaky-clean image, but now the Filipino boxer has been accused of housing a fugitive and tax evasion.

'Pacman' was accused by journalist Espin Espejo who claimed that wanted man Mohhamed Akia had taken refuge in Pacquiao's luxury residence. Akia was apparently driven to Pacquiao's house and has supposedly stayed there since.
Pacquiao has responded to the accusations by making a libel action against Espejo but the Philippines media surprisingly seem to be backing the journalist over the country's No.1 and the Worlds No.2 boxer Manny Pacquiao.

Promoter Bob Arum has not said much about the accusations but he did say that he was perplexed by the situation.

''I can't make heads or tails of it'' is what he told Yahoo! Sports on Monday evening.

The accusations will most likely not do much to affect ''Pacman's'' big fan base and he has also announced that his fight with Timothy Bradley on June 9th may be his last so his fans and also his own main focus will be the fight at this moment in time.
