The One - Weigh-In Results

By Jack Price @PriceyJ97 - @BoxingOpinions1

Its official! Mayweather-Canelo is going down tonight and so are the other three big fights on the bill as all the fighters have made weight. Time to get excited!
New addition to 'The Money Team' and British star Ashley Theopane and his opponent Pablo Cesar Cano were first to step on the scales. The fight is set for a catchweight of 143lb. Cano looked to make the weight comfortably after struggling on the scales in recent fights. He weighed 141.5lb. Theopane also looked in good shape, weighing 142.

Next up was Ishe Smith and Carlos Molina, who will face off tomorrow for the IBf light-middleweight world title. Molina tipped the scales at 153lb while Smith came in a little light at 151.5 but looked in good shape as always.

Now it was time for the big ones! As 11,000 excited fans awaited the arrivals of the final four superstars, Lucas Matthysse and Danny Garcia entered the arena to weigh in for their light-welterweight mega-fight. Matthysse weighed exactly 140lb and so did Garcia after two attempts. He initially weighed 140.5 but this proved to just be a problem with the scales and 30 seconds later the scales read exactly 140. The fight is on. Garcia will defend his WBC, WBA & Ring Magazine titles in what is expected to be an all-out war and 'Fight Of The Year.'

And now it was time for Mayweather-Canelo. Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez was the first to enter the arena. The dominantly Mexican crowd erupted as the young star walked confidently to the stage. He looked in very good condition on the scales, weighing exactly 152. And finally, the man himself arrived. Floyd 'Money' Mayweather. With an entourage that seemed bigger than ever, the pound-for-pound king strutted his way to the stage before weighing in comfortably at 150.5lb. Needless to say, he looked in great shape as always.

As the two men faced off for the final time before they meet in the ring tonight, they both looked incredibly confident. All the talking, all the build-up, all the hype is now over. Just one thing remains, the fight itself, and its only just hours away. Get ready for what looks set to be the richest boxing show of all time! The One.
