Froch Vs Bute: Weigh-in Coverage

Froch and Bute ready to fight!
Tomorrow night (May 26th) we will witness one of the biggest fights of the year in Nottingham. This fight consists of the IBF super-middleweight world champion Lucian Bute and former WBC world champion Carl Froch. Today was the weigh-in for 'No Easy Way Out' and the atmosphere is already heating up and it's starting to feel like a big fight weekend.

Both men received huge applause when they stepped onto the stage but surprisingly, there was more almost more noise for Bute than there was for Froch. All you could hear when SkySports aired live was chants of "BUTE... BUTE...BUTE!" from over 500 fans that have flown to England to watch their man defend his title.

Froch was first to step on the scales and he weighed in at 11st 13lb 5oz. He looked in top condition and gave his fans a little roar once he realised that he had made the weight. Bute followed shortly after and he tipped the scales at 11st 13 12oz. He also looked in great condition and the fight was officially confirmed as a championship bout as both men were comfortably under the weight limit.

The face-to-face was intense but both fighters had smiles on their faces. 'The Cobra' looked as if he was hyped already and just could not wait to fight in front of his home crowd in Nottingham for the first time since 2009.

Make sure you do not miss this fight! It is set up to be one of the closest world title fights of the year, and both men want to prove that they are the No.2 super-middleweight in the world. They may even believe that they are No.1...
