Chisora appeals against license withdrawal!

Frank Warren has confirmed that Dereck Chisora has chosen to appeal against the withdrawal of his license.

The BBBofC removed the 28 year olds license as punishment for his conduct before and after his world heavyweight title bout with Vitali Klitschko. They described him as "not a fit and proper person" to hold a professional boxing license.

Frank Warren (Chisora's promoter) was unhappy with how the initial hearing was handled.

"The appeal has gone in already. The grounds for the appeal are that we're not satisfied with the way the hearing went," said Warren.
"There was also no chance to review any evidence before the hearing. All I want to see is a fair hearing."

The chances may have increased of a super-fight between Chisora and David Haye.

This is what Warren had to say about the chances of the fight: "It's a natural fight, bigger than either of them fighting Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko"

"There's a lot for them to fight about - in a proper environment. It's the proper forum for them to settle their differences."

There are many different thoughts and views across the whole of the boxing world as to whether Chisora should be indefinitely banned but I think most people would prefer to see Chisora and Haye actually have it out in the ring and finish things off once and for all.
