Welsh sensation Lee Selby.
On this coming Saturday evening welsh sensation Lee Selby (26) 15-1-0 6ko’s returns to the ring on the massive Hull bill promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Sports, shown Live on Sky Sports vs unbeaten Romanian Viorel Simion (31) 16-0 7ko’s. Selby coming of a dominant 5th round stoppage victory over Australian Corey Mcconnell , the bout with Simion is for the WBC international featherweight title held by his Romanian opponent.

Although unbeaten Viorel Simion is untested with time against him at 31 it’s a case of do or die for Simion with Selby’s continuously growing reputation within boxing his on the verge of becoming a household name in the UK, with his elusive yet explosive style he has shown his credentials as a slick puncher catapulting onto the domestic scene after a sudden and vicious knock out of domestic rival Stephen Smith via 5th round 1 punch ko in 2011 with 4 ko’s in his last 5 outing’s Lee Selby has British boxing fans excited with his skills & ambition , a young humble lad from wales who is confidently aware of his own abilities.

Selby is a dedicated young man on a serious mission. I expect his opponent Simion to be cagey on Saturday night, with a winning record yet no notable stand out fights on his resume Simion is a step towards moving up the ranking’s for a future world title quest, promoter Eddie Hearn has big plans for Selby who is amongst the hot bed of welsh fighter’s from Gavin Rees, Nathan Cleverly and most recent welsh prospect & prizefighter winner Chris Jenkins, this is good for British boxing but also give’s the Welsh fight fans something to be proud of. I expect Lee Selby to put on another impressive performance & get a victory over Romanian Viorel Simion as we see a young welsh superstar continue his journey towards world title honours in 2014 I expect Lee Selby to beat Simion comfortably possibly stop him in the middle rounds with accurate hard punches.
