Italian promoters OPI 2000 have won the right to stage a bout between Lenny Daws and Italian Michele Di Rocco for the vacant EBU European light-welterweight title.
EU champion Lenny Daws is relishing the chance at another title.
"This is the opportunity I've wanted for a while now. I know its not always easy to fight abroad but after watching a few of his fights I know he is the perfect opponent for me, very beatable," said the 34-year old.
OPI2000 were given 15 days on Friday to notify the EBU of the date and venue for the fight. The contest must take place in the next 60 days.
