This weekend (September 22nd), Chris Eubank Jr will fight in another country for the first time in his professional career.
The highly-rated middleweight prospect will fight on the undercard of the WBA Inter-continental middleweight bout between Patrick Nielsen and Jose Yebes in Denmark. Also on the card will be a highly anticipated female bout between Cecilia Braekhus and Anne Sophie Mathis which the promoter claims is the "Pacquiao-Mayweather' of women's boxing.
Eubank's promoter Mick Hennessy believes that this will be a very, very valuable experience for his fighter.
"It is invaluable for Chris Eubank Jr to pick up international experience on his quest to becoming a major star of world boxing. Therefore I'm pleased to announce that his first professional fight on foreign soil will take place this weekend."
"I would like to thank Nisse (Sauerland) and his team for their cooperation in making this happen."
Eubank's opponent has not yet been confirmed but will be announced later this week. The six-rounder will not be shown live in the UK but will be shown on Channel 5 on Tuesday, September 25th.
