Pacquiao claims that God told him to retire...

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao told the world on Monday that he had been told by God in a dream that he should retire soon.

Pacquiao is the ‘fighting pride’ of the Phillipines and is regarded by many as the No.1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world. So this will leave a huge gap in boxing at present especially if he fails to fight Floyd Mayweather before he chooses to retire.

‘’I will not stay long in boxing because... You have done enough. You have made yourself famous but this is harmful’’ told Pacquiao to a local radio. When asked if the situation would affect his boxing he answered: ‘’I will do my work inside the ring.’’

‘Pacman’ said that he had the dream earlier this year but did not want to announce it at first. He also said he believed he had been chosen by God to use his fame to spread the Christian message and that he would make a major announcement on a religious note later this month.

Manny Pacquiao actually used to be a heavy gambler and someone obsessed with late night parties but he announced that he has become a changed man after his religious vision.
Pacquiao will defend his WBO welterweight title against undefeated Timothy Bradley in Las Vegas on June 9th which is what many people say will be the ‘Pacman’s’ last fight.

So any fans praying for a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao, I’m terribly sorry but it doesn’t look like your prayers are going to be answered.
