Froch Vs Kessler II - Fans Thoughts

I'm sure you've all heard by now that IBF super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch's wish has come true and his highly-anticipated rematch with Mikkel Kessler has been confirmed to take place in Britain later this year. Not only British fight fans, but boxing fans all around the world have been calling for this fight for a very long time, and now it has finally been confirmed there's no surprise that we're all excited!

Here are what some of our Twitter followers had to say about the fight:

@MNG68: Long hard night for both fighters! Both wobbled at some point! But with home advantage, a narrow win for Froch.

@kiks1986: I can see Froch winning this one by a wider than should be points decision. Really looking forward to it though!

@gunnit81: Too close to call. If I had to put money on it, Froch edges a points decision in an absolute war!

@keanybhoy: Would love to see the Cobra (Froch) beat the Viking Warrior (Kessler) but don't think it will happen, Kessler is too good for him.

@CI_Powell: Both will get rocked in a barn burner! But Froch too hungry and strong to lose this one.

@Murf_Davies: Think Carl edges it this time... 1st fight was superb, both men have to raise that performance and in my opinion they will. #FightOfTheYear

So as you can see, although Froch is in the form of his life and looks almost unstoppable right now, almost nobody is predicting an easy night for him. Kessler had his number last time out, and there are some fight fans who believe he will do the same again.

I, like many others, am predicting an extremely close fight in which 'The Cobra' just edges a points decision. Both of these guys will be throwing bombs but I don't think either of them will be going down. Even if they do, they'll get straight back up. Kessler is world-class operator but I rate Froch as one of the best fighters in the world right now and can't see him losing to any super-middleweight out there, barring Andre Ward.

The fight doesn't have a set venue or date yet, the announcement is set to take place in the next couple of weeks. The O2 Arena in May is looking the most likely at the moment.

Nobody knows exactly what is going to happen when these two guys meet in the ring again but I'm sure we can all agree that it's going to an all-out war!
