Froch wants rematches with Kessler and Bute...

IBF super-middlweight champion Carl Froch is on top of the world at the moment after his fantastic and dominant victory over previously undefeated fighter Lucian Bute. The Nottingham man now wants a rematch with the first guy to beat him in the pro ranks, Mikkel Kessler.
Eddie Hearn is already trying to make this fight happen as at the age of 34, Froch needs to get as many of the big fights he wants, to happen as soon as possible.
"I spoke with Kalle [Sauerland] yesterday and it's pretty clear everyone wants the fight," expalined Hearm. "Carl wants to avenge that defeat and what a huge fight that would be. His profile has risen to another level and Froch-Kessler II is a mouth-watering prospect."
Kessler recently fought at light-heavyweight but he weighed just 1lb over the super-middlweight limit so he should easily be able to make the weight if a fight with Froch was to happen. And, it looks very likely that it will. Both men have expressed interest in the match-up and both fighters are coming off of impressive victories so their confidence levels will be shooting through the roof.
In the first fight between the two warriors, Kessler won by a very close decision that could have gone either way. Froch believes that if the fight had taken place somewhere other than Denmark then he would have just got the victory.
Also, you mustn't forget that there is still a rematch clause with Lucian Bute and Bute has already expressed interest with fighting Froch again. Matchroom Boxing haven't forgot about this fight and it will likely happen in th next year or so, providing that Froch beats Kessler first.
